Social Enterprise Summit will bring together leading stakeholders and social enterprise representatives to focus on and discuss the current status and future direction of social enterprise development in Dublin and Ireland. International, national, local stakeholders and social enterprise representatives will discuss key areas and provide insights on context, trends, challenges, opportunities and the social enterprise ecosystem.

Key and future plans among various stakeholders will also be highlighted in order to promote opportunities for potential collaboration. As part of the summit, an exhibition space featuring social enterprises and support organisations will take place in City Hall to encourage further networking.

The event is part of a series - which represents Dublin's involvement in the European Commission’s: European Social Economy Regions - 2019 Project. The objective of the project is to build networks of Social Economy and Social Enterprise stakeholders and to raise awareness about the Social Economy at regional and local level. The event is also part of the Dublin City Summit Series - an initiative of the Economic and Enterprise Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) which is made up of councillors and industry representatives. The summit will be held in the Council Chamber, City Hall and will be broadcast live on the Dublin City Council website where people can follow the discussion during or after the Summit.
