Description

We are delighted to announce the presence of Amanda Webb and Natasha Helen Crudden at the next Dublin Self Publishing Meetup (in collaboration with Writers' Garage). The event will take place at the Cinema at the Generator Hostel on the 24th of September.

  • "Instagram Storytelling" with Amanda Webb, Social Media Marketer.
Amanda will talk about how to creatively use Instagram for storytelling + Q & A
Amanda Webb from Spiderworking has been a social media professional for 11 years working as a social media marketer, initially for her first business then with SMEs as social media consultant, trainer and speaker.
In 2012 she co-founded Blog Awards Ireland and in 2015 passed it on to its new owners. An ardent business blogger on her own site she is also published on Social Media Examiner, Jon Loomer, Razorsocial and AgoraPulse. Her goal is to help small businesses and writers enable success using social media and blogging.
  • Talk with Natasha Helen Crudden about her work as an artist and her self-publishing experience + Q & A.
Natasha is a punk-influenced poet, guitarist, photographer & author of novel Empire Evolution, a post-Celtic Tiger tale of greed, desperation and the fight between progress and virtue. The novel was self-published via CreateSpace in November 2014.
Natasha Helen Crudden has also self-published a poetry book and CD entitled "Barbed-Wire Cage", and EP Detonation Day, and will be launching her second poetry collection "Ctrl/Alt/Delete" in October.

The focus of this meetup is on sharing tools to promote our writings through social media and on spreading the word about the difficulties that any author is facing when is deciding to self-publish a book.
We hope to see you at the event to listen and contribute to the growth of the community of Independent Writers here in Dublin.

The ticket is 5 euro at the entrance and 5 euro plus 1 euro fees online. We strongly suggest buying the ticket online to avoid disappointments.

See you soon :)
