About this event

This programme will consist of five linked sessions.

· The first session will commence with defining the key concepts of social prescribing and models for social prescribing.

· The second session will focus on the value and importance of social prescribing.

· The third session will explore co-creation and co-design using Nature-Based Social Prescribing.

· The fourth session will be a number of case studies presenting the use of social prescribing interventions to improve mental health will present the importance of evaluation in social prescribing with a focus on Social Cost Benefit Analysis (SCBA) and Social Return on Investment (SROI).

· The final session will outline the resources and evidence available through the Social Prescribing Evidence Hub (SPEH) in Ireland and Wales School for Social Prescribing Research (WSSPR).

Participants will be awarded 3 CEUs credits and a certificate of attendance from the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, RCSI.
