About this event

Are you feeling under pressure? Tired? Looking for solace?

When we breathe calmly and deeply everything changes: we feel peaceful, we let go of stress and anxiety, our health improves, we feel blissful and open.

When we combine blissful breathing with drinking cacao in ceremony everything deepens: our body releases tension and worry, our mind becomes quiet, we can feel incredible love and compassion.

When we experience a sound bath we elevate our mood, bring balance to our mind and body, ease strain, enjoy deeper sleep and much more.

How this began...

Over the past few years, Josie Uí Mhurchú (my wife and ceremonial cacao facilitator) discovered something. When we added cacao to our breathing practise, we felt profound benefits: more patience, better able to deal with pressure, improved mood, more openness and acceptance of whatever was happening.

Then, we went to a sound bath with the magnificent Emma West. We felt so open and calm during the session. It felt ethereal and healing. We wanted to share this experience with you, so we created this event.

Emma is a sound healing practitioner and reiki master who is passionate about using sound to help us relax our mind and body.

What you'll get

You will be guided through a cacao ceremony by Josie. You will be given cacao to drink and Josie will take us on a guided meditation with this beloved and sacred plant medicine. Find out more about ceremonial cacao.

We will also combine this with deeply restorative blissful breathing guided by me. During this part of the ceremony, we will use our breathing to change for the better how we feel and think.

Emma will then guide us through a sound bath using her voice and instruments. By using the sacred sound vibrations of Tibetan and crystal bowls, the gong, drum and more she will guide us into a peaceful state, allowing us to surrender to the sounds and let go of any thoughts, or emotions, that are not serving us, soothing your nervous system and helping to bring our mind and body back to its natural state of harmony.
