A powerful trio is formed in the bringing together of these 3 musicians Dara, Jorge &amp; Fi. Live Sitar, clarinet, voice, gongs, singing bowls, chimes, handpans, shamanic drum &amp; technology are all woven together to create a tapestry of sound. You will be led into a state of deep meditative rest supported by the soundscape created. An opportunity to press the reset button for 2023.Comfort is key to being able to rest so we suggest that you wear non restrictive clothing &amp; bring items to create your cozy space like a yoga mat, blankets, pillow/cushions etcT﻿ea &amp; light bite will be served before returning into the world.<h3>About your facilitators</h3><h3>L﻿ady Fi</h3>L﻿ady Fi is a yoga teacher, vocal improvisationalist, lyrist, performer and educator based in West Cork, Ireland. A yogi for 2 decades she has supported people on their journeys to delve beyond the known. Her studies have taken her to many countries leading her to work with a plethora of inspired yogi&#x27;s and musicians. Having students ranging from 0-90 years of age has given her a wealth of experience in her field.Fi works with the natural voice, sacred sound, intuitive movement, breath techniques, yoga nidra &amp; heart based practices to connect people to their individual expression of self. She has been facilitating collaborative workshops for many years with a goal to creating immersive experiences for those involved.<h3>D﻿ara O&#x27;Brien</h3>Dara O’Brien is a composer, music educator and performer (sitar, guitar) based in Cork. He completed his PhD at UCC School of Music where he lectures in Indian classical music and improvisation. He also works as a music therapist in the field of autism. He studied in India over many years under his mentor, Sougata Roy Chowdhury.His eclectic experience as a composer and performer includes ‘global fusion’, Indian classical music, jazz, rock, experimental sound, film, and music for contemporary dance. He is a founder of Rasa Nua, a quartet blending Indian, Baltic and jazz music through original compositions.Dara has extensive experience composing and performing music for contemporary dance to critical acclaim.
