This event aims to support all those involved in the practice education of students in the health and social care professions.

About this event

This event is organised by the Practice Education Coordinators Network and hosted by Trinity College. The theme of the event is Student Success, with speakers such as:

Prof Jennifer Cleland, President's Chair in Medical Education, discussing how practice education experiences impact on career decisions

Dr Christy Noble, Clinical Learning and Assessment Lead, discussing performance optimisation through feedback and assessment

Ms Ursula Wedel, Practice Tutor in Physiotherapy, discussing clinical reasoning and how it can be fostered

Dr Andrea Gingerich, Assistant Professor, discussing the assessment of underperforming students

This event is kindly sponsored by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. They are the national body responsible for leading and advising on the enhancement of teaching and learning in Irish higher education. They work with those who teach and shape policy and practice to foster a valued and informed teaching and learning culture in Irish higher education. They focus on the professional development of all those who teach, teaching and learning in a digital world, teaching and learning within and across disciplines, and student success.
