About this event
Music Generation Offaly/ Westmeath has joined forces with Music Generation Louth , Sing Ireland and IMRO to create an on-line singing camp perfect for teens!
Join us for workshops in everything from singing and song-writing to rap!
The 3-day course will be led by Irish Youth Choir tutor and Chamber Choir member Alan Leech and a stellar line up of workshop leaders and musicians from Music Generations Offaly/ Westmeath and Louth including extra sessions on Rap with Rapper Gary McCarthy (GMC Beats), Songwriting with Singer Songwriter Luan Parle, Vocal Sound with Irish Youth Training Choir Conductor Patrick Barrett and Warm Ups with Singer Helen Hassett.
No previous experience of singing necessary.
Requirements: All you need is access to a phone, tablet or computer, time to join us on ZOOM from 12.00 - 3.30pm on 21st, 22nd & 23rd July, and a give it a go attitude!
Open to young people aged 12 - 18 living anywhere in Ireland.
Limited places available.
Alan Leech is one of Ireland’s leading tenors and choral practitioners who currently works with Music Generation Offaly/ Westmeath's Singfest Senior Choir and Music Generation Louth's Teen Singing Project. Alan is also the tenor tutor with the Irish Youth Training Choir and Irish Youth Choir.
