Hello all. We are really excited to announce our first Supper Club cook book night inspired by the wonderful Meera Shoda "east".
We will be hosting this event in the Greenroom at Springfield castle at the end of the month on Friday January 31st at 7.30pm.
This event is a showcase of fantastic healthy vegetarian food inspired by the cook book.
The event will feature food from 3 of Springfield's chefs and cooks and the aim is promote a more sustainable approach to food consumption. Whether you're a vegetarian for years or thinking about cutting down on your meat intake this night is for all and everyone to experience the joys and flavours of working without meat products.
The evening will be held in the fantastic space of the Greenroom and the ticket price is €25 pp ex drinks.
There will be 3 different courses on the menu, one from each cook.

Steph
With a unique background in design, hospitality and horticulture and a passion for growing, cooking, art and performance, Steph is passionate about designing engaging food experiences that encourage slowing down and coming into our senses – so that we can savour food more fully.

Steph is very interested in holistic forms of healing including the traditional yogic natural medicine of Ayurveda, cooking in line with balancing the chakras and sourcing local, wild and organic produce. She finds her inspiration through travel, writing in creative cafes, collecting cookbooks, designing and experimenting in the kitchen.

Over the past two years, Steph has been cooking and facilitating at food experience events and workshops with Rituals of Plate. She currently facilitates mindful food experiences and teaches cookery on Food Experience Retreats at the acclaimed Cliffs of Moher Retreat in Clare. She also cooks regularly for guests at Springfield Castle in county Limerick. More information about Steph can be found on her website: www.ritualsofplate.com

Lizzy
After many years working in all aspects of the hospitality industry at home and abroad, Lizzy studied Nutrition and Health coaching and began her wholefoods catering company Withaglowingheart. She has subsequently gone on to study Organic Horticulture and is wholeheartedly passionate about local, seasonal eating and regenerative agriculture.

Dan
Dan is the gardner & a cook at Springfield castle. He has had passion for food from day one through his grandmother and mother. He spent two years in South America working in as many small produce holdings and restaurants as possible, learning about food production and gardening. He helped with the opening of the Greenroom cafe on returning home. He has recently been involved with the setting up of the West Limerick food trail and see's west Limerick as a destination for food lovers due to its fantastic local produce.
