The SWACA annual scientific meeting is an opportunity for paediatric anaesthetists from around the South West to meet, learn and receive teaching from experts around the country. It is also an opportunity for trainees to showcase their projects in paediatric anaesthesia and compete for the trainee presentation prize. The day includes:<ul><li>"Caring for neurodivergent children having surgery" - Dr Mary Doherty, President of Autistic Doctors International.</li></ul> <ul><li>Expert workshops on Ultrasound skills for critically ill children and on managing challenging behaviour.</li></ul> <ul><li>"Reflections on a career in Paediatric Anaesthesia" - Memoirs from Consultant Simon Courtman APAGBI President</li></ul> <ul><li>Trainee presentations - Prizes available!</li></ul> <ul><li>Return of the SWACA Debate - This years topic "This house believes that volatile anaesthesia has had its day'</li></ul>
