Swift Historical Tours – St Patricks University Hospital, James’ Street, Dublin 8
Our atmospheric tours will explore Swift's Dublin and his legacy in the environs of St Patricks University Hospital. The tours will feature some of the Hospital's collection of paintings, Swifts writing bureau and the showing of a reconstructed patient's cell from the 1750s. Led by theatre maker Alice Coghlan of Wonderland Productions, who has adapted Swift for the stage, and in collaboration with the Twilight Programme, with a special performance from actor Damien Devaney, this tour will explore the Dublin of the hospital's famous founder and his legacy.
