An intimate evening of poetry, memory, and resistance — dedicated to the voice of Vasyl Stus.

Hosted by Lucy (Ukrainian Café) and CU Theater, this bilingual gathering invites you to discover the life and legacy of one of Ukraine’s most powerful poetic voices, silenced by Soviet repression but never forgotten.

🕯️ A short lecture in English will introduce Stus’s story — his life, exile, and moral courage.

📖 Then, we’ll read his poems aloud in multiple languages, letting his words echo across borders and generations.

Ukrainian music, warm drinks, and beautiful people around will make this event even cozier.

This event is a part of the global festival Stus Fest 2026.

Entry by donation and one drink purchase at the venue is required — all proceeds go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
