Technovation Ireland Chapter- Information and Ideation session - UCC
Event Information
About this Event
Technovation, Ireland Chapter (Phase Innovate) is graciously hosting a Technovation information day to kick-off the 2019 season.
Ideation Workshop is designed to get teams thinking about what kind of app they want to build and who they want to build it for. Teams will brainstorm community issues, learn how to understand their market and their customers, and how to do paper prototypes of their apps.
Background:
Technovation is the largest technology entrepreneurship program for girls ages 10 to 18. They offer girls around the world the opportunity to learn the skills they need to emerge as tech entrepreneurs and leaders. Every year girls are invited to identify a problem in their community, and then challenge them to solve it. They work in teams to build both a mobile app and a business plan to launch that app, supported by mentors and guided by the Technovation curriculum.
