Homage to 70's NY alternative rock band Telivision
Teilifíseán is a group of musicians paying homage to Television, the seminal New York group whose influence can be heard throughout the spectrum of alternative, guitar-based rock. They will play the landmark album Marquee Moon in full (as well as songs from their follow-up LP, Adventure). The band aim to capture Television’s intrepid approach to live performance, interweaving the threads of punk, improvisation and melodic genius that guided generations of guitar bands to come.
