Astronomy Ireland is a non-profit organization and the largest national astronomy club in the world relative to population.It was founded in 1990 by David Moore and has grown over 30 years to more than 15,000 membersOur aim is to promote astronomy, space interest and education in Ireland.We achieve this aim by holding talks, lectures, observing sessions and other events nationwide.

<p>J﻿oin us on January 25 2023 at our Telescope Workshop, where some of our experts will help you set up and learn how to use your telescope. If you do not have a telescope we will be using our own to show you the planet Mars!</p><p>P﻿lease note €5 fee is fully redeemable at the event.</p>
