Gift Horse Theatre

Tess is a story about women silenced and surviving. It is a story about our relationship with our environment and our families. It is a story we want you to listen to.
See Tess’ story anew in the scenic surroundings of Trinity’s Rose Garden, an environment in which nature and culture, organic and man-made, are thrust together. Live music, dance, and animated story-telling will bring to life the controversial story of “a pure woman.” How does Hardy’s tale translate today?  
Tess is new theatre company Gift Horse Theatre's debut production. It is created as part of a move towards an environmentally conscious theatre.

Please be aware that there are limited seats available (three benches), if you would like to reserve a seat on a bench please email gifthorsetheatre@gmail.com. Please do not hesitate to email us if you have any special requirements so that we may accommodate you. Other seats available will be on picnic blankets. Feel free to bring your own, or picnic chairs if you have any!
