Event description

Description

As part of Other Voices, on its first visit to Belfast, we’re pleased to present a special half-day conference that looks at the role and potential impact of creativity in building a better and brighter Belfast for all. The Belfast Edge conference asks us to think about how creativity can equip us to respond to rapid changes in technology, shifting geopolitical, economic, social and business paradigms, and rapid and profound demographic changes.

Belfast is a globally connected, cultural, tech-friendly city and region. How can Belfast’s cultural capital be harnessed in the most effective way to enable the city to compete globally? How can creativity help the city realise the ambitions of The Belfast Agenda?

Three eclectic and compelling panels will consider these questions. With voices that will not only speak to each other, but speak across each other, our contributors are proudly drawn from the edges of the worlds of arts & culture, business, technology, journalism and government.

Guests can also expect some musical magic Other Voices style.
