About this event

  • 5 hours

Join a group of your fellow walkers on a stroll through Donabate, Malahide and Portmarnock! We run regular walks all around Ireland to help people get fit, meet new walking buddies, and learn about the Camino de Santiago!

This is an excellent walk for anyone who is considering a walking holiday, like the Camino de Santiago. The distance and elevation that you'll cover are very similar to what a short day on the Camino would be like!

The money raised is donated to our charity partners, in this case Vision Ireland. Thank you for joining us in this contribution!

At 9am, we’ll meet at the Donabate Dart station main entrance for some light stretching and a Camino Q&A with one of our expert Camino Planners before hitting the trail at 9:15am sharp. Starting in Donabate, we will head to the beautiful coast. Easily one of the most scenic parts of Dublin, this area gives you the feel of being in a small seaside town, but with wonderful city views too! The walk from Malahide to Portmarnock is an approx 4km elevated seaside coastal walk, skirting parkland on one side and the beach, down a small rock face, on the other side.
