The Great Australian Wine Tasting

Australian wines, at one point, were one of the focal points for Irish wine lovers. In recent years there has been a movement in both learning about and enjoying more and more European wines. With this tasting, we are going to re-introduce you to some of the true gems that the Australian wine scene has to offer. From the heat of Victoria in the southeast, right across to the cooler west coast, Australia has a huge variety of microclimates in different wine producing regions resulting in an abundance of different grape varieties that can be grown and styles of wine that can be made. Our aim with this tasting is to highlight the range of wine styles available from Australia and to put them back into the thoughts of Irish wine drinkers!

This tasting will take place in the tasting area of our HQ Store in Mullingar on Saturday 23rd of July, commencing at 4pm sharp and finishing at approximately 6pm.

Included in the ticket price is the tutored tasting of 8 wines led by one of our wine enthusiasts, some nibbles, and a set of tasting notes. Exclusive discounts will also be offered on the wines tasted on the evening.
