Paul Tiernan, Tony Davis and Donagh Long are The Listeners.

St Matthews Church Baltimore

All three have long careers in writing, recording and touring music. During thewinter of 1998 while living in West Cork they came together to perform threepart acoustic and vocal arrangements of their favorite songs.In the summer of 2000 they recorded “Live at the Courtyard” during their weeklygigs in that famous establishment in Schull. Regular gigs over the next two yearshoned a performance that combined not just a vocal style but energy, emotion,humor and the joy of music that has lived long in all three to this day.The intervening years saw them again pursue their individual careers and lives.The Listeners are together again in the summer of 2024 for a limited number ofperformances.
