The Place Race 2023

This one day conference is for all place professionals working across the public and private sector on branding and marketing activities, and it will also incorporate elements of placemaking / place development and place management to highlight the relationship and connectivity between all the activities.

The conference considers some of the key challenges which Local Authorities, Regional bodies, Economic Developers and place consultants face in place development and promotion including:

• How can we effectively differentiate our towns, cities and regions?

• The importance of transformational projects in place?

• What is the role of placemaking and where has it been most effective?

• What return should we expect from branding and marketing expenditure?

• How can we collaborate for success?

This conference is free to attend for public sector organisations. The fee for private sector organisations is €149.
