The Prayer Course

The Prayer Course starts on the 22nd January at 7:30. The Prayer Course has been created by 24-7 Prayer. 24-7 Prayer began as one simple prayer meeting in 1999, and is now an international, interdenominational movement, reviving the church and rewiring the culture through non-stop night and day prayer.

The course is an eight-week journey running Sunday evenings that will help us to grow and deepen our prayer life.

Session 1 22 Jan: Why Pray? “Lord, teach us to pray” This first session of The Prayer Course, we’ll unpack the importance of prayer and the different topics covered across the course.

Session 2 29 Jan: Adoration “Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name”. In this session we’ll explore how we can enjoy God’s presence in praise and worship.

Session 3 12 Feb: Petition “Give us this day our daily bread” In this session we’ll unpack the significance of asking God in prayer.

Session 4 19 Feb: Intercession “Your kingdom come” In this session, we’ll explore the power and importance of praying on behalf of others.

Session 5 26 Feb Unanswered Prayer “Your will be done”: In this session we’ll be tackling the challenges and realities when our prayers aren’t answered.

Session 6 12 March: Contemplation “On earth as it is in heaven”: In this session, we’ll discover how spending time with God in silence can enrich our relationship with Him.

Session 7 19 Mar: Listening “Give us this day our daily bread”: In this session, we’ll unpack the practical ways we can tune into hearing God’s voice.

Session 8 26th Mar: Spiritual Warfare “Deliver us from evil” In this session, we’ll look closely at the ways we can pray God’s kingdom come in the midst of a spiritual battle.
