THE TIME MACHINE transforms an old Bank in Miltown Malbay into a portal into the past and future to help us imagine ourselves in 2084

<h3><a href="https://www.miltowntimemachine.com" title="https://www.miltowntimemachine.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">THE TIME MACHINE</a> is a project we are creating with the community of Miltown Malbay that asks what our homes of the past and present can teach us about the home of the future.</h3><h3><br></h3><p><strong><strong>Join us on the 17th August from 7pm - 10pm for a very special opening event - free and open to everyone, no ticket required.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>The Time Machine is intended for an adult and teen audiences and is not suitable for children under the age of 8. Children will not be admitted without supervision. </strong></strong></p><h3><br></h3><h4>We are a production company based in Ennistymon, Co. Clare called <a href="https://www.crackinglightproductions.com/" title="https://www.crackinglightproductions.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cracking Light Productions</a>. For this project we are turning an old bank in Miltown Malbay into a time machine, using immersive installation, storytelling, theatre, and filmmaking to twist time to join the past, present and future into a unique and fun exhibition. Since January 2024 we have been collaborating with the local community through a series called ‘Kitchen Table Conversations’ as well as workshops in local primary and secondary schools that invited young people to imagine what the home of the future might look like.</h4><h4><br></h4><p><br></p>

<p>All profits from ticket sales of The Time Machine will go back into the community. You can make a suggestion about who you think should receive the profits as a donation at www.miltowntimemachine.com. Audiences will be able to vote on the top three most popular suggestions in August!</p>

<p>The exhibition space is up a flight of stairs and is inaccessible for wheelchairs and may  present issues for those with mobility challenges. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more and we will do our best for you. </p>
