Tide brings together New Dublin Voices and the Vancouver Youth Choir for one very special joint performance in Newman University Church. Both ensembles will be fresh off the stage of the Cork International Choral Festival (April 29–May 2) and keen to showcase their programmes for audiences in Dublin.
Founded in 2013 by Artistic Director Carrie Tennant, the Vancouver Youth Choir serves more than 700 singers from across the Vancouver area. The touring ensemble has gained international attention for adventurous programming and outside-the-box performances, setting new standards for youth choirs globally.
New Dublin Voices, conducted by Bernie Sherlock, is one of Ireland’s leading chamber choirs. Known for imaginative programming and a distinctive sound, the ensemble has earned international recognition through festival appearances and competition success.
