Tintern Abbey Wellness Walk with Cacao, Forest Bathing, Reiki, Meditation

Join us for a rejuvenating wellness walk at the historic Tintern Abbey in Saltmills. Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of nature while indulging in the powerful healing practices of cacao, forest bathing, reiki, and meditation.

On Saturday 11th May at 10:00 AM , we will gather at Tintern Abbey to embark on a transformative journey for the mind, body, and soul.

Paula will lead you through the enchanting trails of the abbey, where you will connect with the lush surroundings and tap into the healing energy of the forest. You will be guided through a series of mindfulness exercises, including forest bathing invitations , reiki healing, and meditation practices, so the timing for this event includes time for all the above, which leaves about 2 hours for walking at a nice easy pace.

Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin-Yoku, is a therapeutic practice that involves immersing yourself in nature to reduce stress, boost immune function, and enhance overall well-being. Combined with the healing powers of cacao, reiki, and meditation, this wellness walk promises to be a truly transformative experience.

Whether you are seeking relaxation, inner peace, or a deeper connection with yourself and nature, this event is perfect for you. Leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life and allow yourself to be enveloped by the tranquility of Tintern Abbey.

Please note - my Wellness Walks are deliberately set at a slow easy relaxed pace. They are mindful walks in nature so if you’re looking for a cardio workout or to reach ‘X amount of steps’, my walks are not for you!

Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today and embark on a wellness journey like no other!

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

This walk is on a marked path but some sections may be mucky due to the weather so walking boots are more suitable if the weather has been wet. Warm layers ( no jeans), rain jacket, sun cream and insect repellent if you need it and bottle of water.

How fit do I need to be?

This walk is suitable for all fitness levels and is graded as easy. The Wellness Walk is deliberately set at a nice slow pace, in order to practice mindfulness and switch off from outside distractions.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately no… As much as I love dogs, they are NOT allowed on Pure by Paula Wellness Walks. This is your time for selfcare and wellness and it’s not fair on other participants trying to relax and enjoy the meditations, Reiki etc, or those who may be afraid of dogs.

Do I have to bring swimwear or take off my clothes for the Forest Bathing?

NO !!!!! The term ‘Forest Bathing’ simply means ‘immersing ourselves in the essence of nature’, and using our senses to practice being mindful. So no clothing is removed !!!

I don’t have anyone to come with me, can I come alone?

Of course! Most people come on the walks alone. Some come with a friend or family member.

I just want to relax and de-stress, I don’t want to talk to anyone on the walk !

This is YOUR Wellness Walk and your space to have some selfcare. I encourage participants to turn their phones on silent and to switch off from all distractions. Everyone has their own reasons for coming along, and some may have very personal reasons so we will all respect each others space.
