Tourism 4.0

The consortium Tourism 4.0 led by Arctur Ltd., company with 25+ years of experience in the field of IT technologies and the leading service provider of supercomputing in Central Eastern Europe has been initiated in 2018 with the mission to transform the perception of tourism and business around it. Starting with Slovene organizations, such as University of Ljubljana, Faculty of computer and information science, University of Maribor, Faculty of Tourism, University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies Turistica and Slovene National Association Of Towns and Municipalities, now also international partners are in the process of joining.

<P> Since the early beginnings in the antique people have been traveling with the aim to see and learn new things. All the time tourism business has been adapting to social and technological development. In the era of digitalization and rapid technological development, one of the world's largest economic sectors is facing a new challenge and it needs to adapt again. <BR><BR><A HREF="https://www.tourism4-0.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tourism 4.0</A> is a new paradigm initiated in 2018 by a Slovene consortium initiated by Arctur Ltd together with University of Ljubljana, Faculty of computer and information science, University of Maribor, Faculty of Tourism, University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies Turistica and Slovene National Association Of Towns and Municipalities adapting the concepts from Industry 4.0 to tourism. <BR></P>

<H3><STRONG>Tourism 4.0 at the 31. Bled eConference</STRONG><BR><STRONG></STRONG></H3>
<H3>The aim of the panel dedicated to Tourism 4.0. is to gather and connect in this idea all the active players in the tourist sector in Slovenia and abroad. The members of the consortium will present the topic and in an interactive way together with guests on stage and in the public discuss the challenges and the chance for Slovenia to take the leading role in development of Tourism 4.0.<BR><BR>To give everyone the chance to be part of this initiative and take part at the event, Arctur is enabling free entrance to this panel. Places are limited and will be given on first come first serve basis! Everyone interested to attend other sections of the conference should contact directly the organizer of the conference.<BR><BR>Program is <A HREF="http://bledconference.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">available here</A> and will be held in English.<BR><BR></H3>
