How do Free Walking Tours work?

Accepted Answer

The Free Walking Tour runs on a donations based model. Instead of paying the guide something at the start of the tour, you simply wait until the end of the tour and you pay the guide whatever you think the tour was worth to you. This means the guide must work hard to give an entertaining tour!

Who can join the Free Walking Tour?

Accepted Answer

We don't take group bookings of more than 8 people on our Free Walking Tour as they change the experience of other tour participants, particularly if the group are non-native English speakers or groups of school students.

Instead for groups, we offer bespoke private tours at a reasonable rate.

Where does the Walking Tour start?
