UCD Childhood and Human Development Research Centre Annual Research Meet

Dear Colleagues,

The UCD Childhood and Human Development Research Centre (CHilD-RC) will hold its Annual Research Meet on the 13th December 2017.

This annual meeting is an opportunity for Centre members to present and discuss their research with an interdisciplinary audience. The theme of this year’s Meet is Addressing Global Challenges in Childhood, with a specific focus on 1) childhood obesity and 2) childhood health and education in developing countries.
The key note address will be given by Dr. Fiona Lithander (University of Bristol) on “Are hospital retailers contributing to childhood obesity?” The meeting will conclude with lunch and an interactive quiz to inform the future direction of the Centre.

We are currently inviting abstracts from PhD students to participate in ‘Thesis in Three’ sessions during the day. If you would like to present your research in 3 minutes using 3 slides please send an abstract to child@ucd.ie by 1st December.
