On behalf of the President of UCD, Professor Colin Scott, the Vice-President of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion will formally launch the UCD LGBTI Staff Network on Wednesday 22nd February. The Tanaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality, Frances Fitzgerald TD, will also be in attendance. Invitations are extended to senior university leaders, members of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group and a broad spectrum of UCD staff and students.
This event is a clear statement of our University's commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion for our whole community. It will be a celebration of the endeavours to date undertaken by LGBTI staff of UCD to promote equality and provide support.
The event will feature “The Road to Equality” exhibition and a performance by the Dublin based LGBTI choir GLORIA. A range of finger food and refreshments will be provided.
