Is there parking?

Yes, there is on site parking available.

What do I need to bring?

We send out a more specific list to participants closer to the time and more tailored to the weather, but generally we ask people to bring a camping chair, a Bible and notebook,  and layers including a hat and coat, as we will be sitting outside.  NOTE: we have spare chairs, bibles, and throws.

Is there a toilet?

There are lots of places to go for a wild wee(!) but if that's not your thing, Atlas have kindly given us access to their toilet at  reception.

What happens if it rains?

As much as possible we like to stay outside.  So if we can, we'll put up a tarp.  However, comfort is important so if the weather is prohibitive, we have a shorter time of nature connection and then head to a cosy indoor space for the Scripture Circle.

What is nature connection?

Connection with nature is about tuning in to your surroundings and noticing what is happening around you through all your senses. It describes our relationship to the natural world and associates it with greater happiness, life satisfaction, and a reduced risk of stress, anxiety and depression.

What is a Scripture Circle?

Anam Cara Ministries says: They are gatherings of community centred around the Word. Each Scripture Circle is an experience of communion with God and others—a unique journey made more so by your participation: no one else has your story, your eyes, and the gifts you bring to the study of Scripture.
