The FINAL EDITION of Urban Knights in 2015 will take place on Tue, 24th Nov, 19.00 at 34A, Weichselstraße 34A, 10247, Berlin.
This issue of Urban Knights focuses on the themes of home and hospitality with emphasises on fostering social relationships, strategies for engendering hospitality and the notion of home. Addressing these themes Urban Knights welcomes Berlin based architects Something Fantastic, Irish artist and chef, Fiona Hallinman and digital activist Carolina García Cataño. As part of the event Fiona Hallinman will literally be cooking up something extra special!
The format for Urban Knights focuses on short speaker presentations with emphasises on discussion and exchange with our audience. Places are limited so booking is essential.
Something Fantastic [DE]: Architects who examine housing and the built environment within a global context, focusing on ideas of resistance and reliance
Fiona Halliman [IRL]: Artist and chef presents presents her food and hospitality designs and interventions
Carolina García Cataño [ES/DE]: Founding member of Dabne and tech coordinator for tomalaplaza, takethesquare and the 15M movements in Spain, speaks about her refugee support work in Berlin and Lage
