Vox Clamantis choir of Estonia, singing music by Arvo Pärt, Helena Tulve, Lou Harrison and a new piece by Siobhán Cleary.
Ensemble Vox Clamantis has become internationally recognised with their programs based on Gregorian chant and early polyphony often combined with works by contemporary composers. Many Estonian composers, among them Arvo Pärt, Helena Tulve, Erkki-Sven Tüür, Toivo Tulev, Galina Grigorjeva and Tõnis Kaumann have written compositions for Vox Clamantis.
The conductor and artistic director of Vox Clamantis is Jaan-Eik Tulve.
Vox Clamantis programme features a number of Arvo Pärt works including LCMS commission The Deer's Cry, works by Helena Tulve, Lou Harrion's Mass for St. Cecilia's Day and a new work Storm in Devon from Irish composer Siobhan Cleary.
