About this event

  • 1 day 22 hours

This residential retreat integrates 3 core ingredients to meet our intention to 'nourish in nature' - mindfulness, nature and movement.

Join this special gathering and enjoy a series of evidence-based practices and activities in nature that are essential in nourishing our health and wellbeing. For many of us the daily friction of living today is unyielding, relentless and exhausting. Maybe we feel that 'stressed' has become our default mode. We are not alone. Human bodies and nervous systems are calling for rest and comfort as find our way through this fast-moving and ever-changing world. Our hearts and minds may be seeking space for clarity, connection and care. When we connect to our inner nature, we are not the only ones to gain: we become more present and connected with who and what really matters to us. We may be empowered to make choices that allow us to flourish in our lives. Whatever draws you to this retreat, all are welcome.

Join us for a series of encouraging mindfulness practices that will begin the day with energising and warming movement practices. Let Sheena & Claire skilfully lead you through a specially designed series of mindfulness practice for connecting mind-body and heart. We will share social connection circles, breathwork and meditations. We will wander in nature with walking meditations and nature-based activities to reconnect with the beauty that is here too and can reveal a deeper understanding of our own nature and the interconnection of our internal and external worlds. On retreat, we can walk in the footsteps of our ancestors as we take this time to stop, step back, review, appreciate and celebrate our achievements at this time of year.

Leave feeling rested, reconnected with inner strength and ready to embrace subsequent days with joy and hope.

All meals, activities and accommodation are included in the fee.

Who? This retreat is ideal for people who may be new to meditation, mindfulness in nature and/or mindful movement and those ready to bring their 'beginner's mind' to this retreat experience! Experience of these teachings and practices may support a discovery, as others have, of how we may connect with internal and external sources of support and encouragement in life, build resilience and well-being, reduce stress, sleep better, improve relationships and grow a sense of well-being in daily life, especially in the face of personal and global challenges. Research shows the benefits experienced on retreat can extend up to 6 months afterwards.
