What age is the event suitable for?

This is suitable for children aged 7-11 years old. We will be doing some writing in the session.

Does my child need to bring writing materials?

Accepted Answer

No. All materials will be provided, however, if your child would like to bring their own writing book or pens/pencils, they are welcome to bring these.

Can my child bring a story they have already written?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If they would like to bring a story they have already written and use this as the basis for the exercises, this is fine.

Does my child need to have already written something?

Accepted Answer

No.

Question 5

Will there be any drawing or illustration?

Accepted Answer

This workshop will be focussed on how to write the story rather than on illustration. If your child is struggling to write, I will ask them to draw their story.
