Who Should Attend: The course is specially designed for employees/volunteers who are involved in working at height within the workplace.
Course Duration: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Course Content:
- Legislation and regulations around working at height.
- Fall restraint.
- Fall arrest.
- Working at height hazard management.
- Inspection of harnesses/lanyards/anchorage.
- Selection and fitting of a harness.
- Safe use of ladders.
- Fall Dynamics.
- Selecting fall arrest for working with MEWP’s.
- Logging & maintenance of working at height equipment.
Certification: A Guardian Safety Working at Height Training Certificate (3-year certificate) is awarded to participants once they have successfully completed the course.
Participants can select their preferred attendance method, either participating online through Zoom or attending in person.
Pre-requisites to attend the course:
All participants must be fluent in English.
If you have opted to attend online via Zoom you will need a PC, Laptop, Smartphone, etc. with audio/video & Internet. Ensure a browser is running correctly (Google Chrome, firefox, etc) or the Zoom Application is installed.
A Harness is mandatory if attending Online.
If you have opted to attend in person, registration will begin 15 minutes prior to the start time of the course.
