Guest speaker Richie Sadlier, RTE soccer pundit, columnist for The Irish Times & practising Psychotherapist will join us to discuss what approaches employers and employees can take to managing mental wellness. Drawing on his experience of high pressured environments, Richie will speak on the pressures of modern life and how to overcome challenges within the workplace.
Sandyford Business District’s David Kelly, owner of CrossFit Green, Cathy Soraghan, director of Women On The Run, and Richie will join MC Niall Woods, ex-rugby International & MD of Navy Blue Sports, for a Q&A on the topic.

Focusing On Mental Health

A European-wide survey on working conditions conducted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work found 22% of workers in Ireland experienced stress at work “always” or “most of the time”. The proportion that always experienced stress was the third highest in the EU15 and 10th highest among the 34 countries surveyed.
Fostering good mental health at work has never been more important - yet many employers are still unclear about how they can best support workers. So how can your employers, and you, implement a structured and collaborative approach to manage work-related stress?
There will be the opportunity for all guests to network over light refreshments. This promises to be a very informative evening – we hope you can join us.
