Yin by Candlelight (16th April)

Yin by Candlelight (16th April)

Project ReviveDublin, Dublin
Thursday, Apr 16 from 7:45 pm to 9 pm
Overview

Weekly Thursday evening yin yoga classes in Project Revive Studio, 11a Ranelagh, Dublin 6

Weekly yin yoga classes in Proejct Revive Studio, 11a Ranelagh, Dublin 6.

Yin Yoga is an embodied mediatation practice that uses longer holds in shapes to target the connective tissues. When you are in a shape, you are encouraged to reduce all efforting and use the physical sensation in the target area to remain present, in stillness.

Between each pose, you will "rebound" by coming out of the shape and lying down.

Classes feature:

  • friendly environment in a small private studio
  • grounding
  • breath awareness
  • long held, floor based poses
  • embodied stillness

Yin Yoga is suitable for beginners without being specifically for beginners. These classes are for you to discover and experience the shapes and subsequent rebound in your body.

You will need: a water bottle is always good to have on hand and we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you freedom of movement. Dressing in layers is advised as you may find that your body temperature changes as you spend time in the poses so it is helpful to be able to easily add or remove a layer if required.

Class Rates

Single Class €15
Consecutive Pass €10 per class (€50 for 5 consecutive classes)
