Yin and Yoga Nidra

Take time to pause and mark the Spring Equinox with a yin and yoga nidra combo.

Yin Yoga is an embodied mediatation practice, that uses longer holds in shapes to target the connective tissues. When you are in a shape, you are encouraged to reduce all efforting and use the physical sensation in the target area to remain present, in stillness.

Between each pose, you will "rebound" by coming out of the shape and lying down.

Yoga Nidra is also known as the yogic sleep or in modern parlance, non sleep deep rest. You will set yourself up in a comfortable resting position, relax your body completely as if you were sleeping and focus your awareness on staying mentally alert and following the verbal guided mediatation cues.


€25 per person - no yoga experience required - come as you are. Group size is limited to 8 to allow plenty of space per person.

Mutton Lane Yoga Studio is located in Tibradden (near Rathfarnham) at the foot of the Dublin Mountains. Only a short drive from the city, this private studio feels a world away from city or suburban life, nestled in beautiful secluded grounds it's cosy cabin meets yoga studio complete with all the props!

Need to Know:
Access code for the gate will be provided in your pre-event email.
Mats and props are available, however if you prefer to use your own mat you are welcome to do so.
Dress in comfortable, cosy, clothing that you can move in.
Bring a keep-cup or mug for herbal tea.
