It's time to start feeling less stuck and more free. Immerse yourself in a half day workshop that will teach you different tools and ways to practice mindfulness. The morning will begin with a grounding and releasing Vinyasa flow yoga session from Rachel & Hannah Healy, Co-Founders of Yoga Mara. Both instructors will be on site during this workshop- one to lead the class while the other will be offering hands on assist and adjustment allowing each person to access the postures safely and correctly.
Once in Savasana (final posture, lying down) you will be expertly guided through a deep meditation by our Mindfulness Master Brigid Nee. From there, you will make your way in silence to the art making station where all materials, paints and paper will be provided for you to express whatever came up for you during your yoga or meditation, let it go and allow your art to do the communicating.
This workshop offers an insight into mindfulness and the practice of staying present in the moment. Through a guided meditation practice the individual will be supported in connecting with self awareness. It also allows a gentle introduction to the process of exploring communication through art making, whilst sparking joy at creative capabilities. This workshop is suitable for anyone, no previous experience of art making is required. The end goal is not to create a beautiful work of art but to explore oneself through the process of creating and meditation.
The half day workshop includes:
Yoga and mindfulness session

Expressive art making - all art materials included
Time to share with the group (if comfortable) over healthy snacks and refreshments
