Laois Walks Festival
Laois Walks Festival is a community-led festival organised by a dedicated committee of volunteers, with the support of local communities across County Laois.
Taking place in June 2026, the festival will feature 14 guided walks across beautiful locations throughout the county, showcasing the natural beauty, heritage, stories and community spirit that make Laois such a special place to explore.
From gentle rambles to more moderate walks, the programme is designed to welcome a wide range of ages, interests and fitness levels. Whether you are a Laois resident discovering somewhere new on your doorstep, or a visitor looking for an authentic way to experience Laois, the festival offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, local stories and each other , one step at a time.
