Hi, I’m Raye from The Roaming Easel.

I’m a designer based in Kilkenny, Ireland, and currently work remotely as a Design Lead for a global marketing agency, with over 10 years of experience in the design industry.

My creative journey has been shaped by both experience and education. I studied Visual Communications (BA Hons) at WIT, and later completed a Higher Diploma in Interaction Design at DCU, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma and an MSc in Digital Marketing Practice from SETU, both awarded with Distinction and First-Class Honours.

Over the years, I’ve worked across branding, print, and digital in roles including Marketing Assistant, Senior Graphic Designer, and Web Designer. Visual storytelling and creativity have always been at the heart of what I do.

But after years working in the digital world, I felt the pull to return to my creative roots.

That’s where The Roaming Easel comes in, creating a welcoming space for people to reconnect with creativity through hands-on crafts. From painting canvases to decorating tote bags and exploring other creative projects, it’s all about making time to create again.

Think of it as a chance to go analog for the evening, ditch the tech, switch off, relax, and enjoy a creative space with good company and good vibes.
