Greg Marks

Greg is a letting on comedian, actor, retired footballer, playwright, snooker player and Finance Director.

Greg is no stranger to entertaining audiences being a veteran of the Irish standup comedy scene for over 15 years until his switch to becoming a funnier actor he had performed his energetic brand of comedy all over Ireland and the United Kingdom which culminated in bringing his one man show “Bullied into standup” to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival on many occasions.

Greg made his acting debut with the Dunshaughlin Players production of Shelagh Stephenson’s Memory of Water in 2023. He also performed with the Dunshaughlin Players in Comedy at the Arch, 2022/2023/2024. He played with the same drama group in their production of Bedtime Stories, by Norm Foster in 2024, and in the same year he played Steve in A Critical Situation by Tommy Nicholson with the Venue Ratoath Players and later he produced, directed, wrote and acted in Trublin Dublin a 3-play show staged in Smock Alley.

With Dunshaughlin Players in 2025 he played Jap Kavanagh in Jimmy Murphy’s Kings of the Kilburn Road and later that year he played Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and in April 2026 he played Thomas Putman in Dunshaughlin players adaption of Arthur Millers The Crucible.
