The Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus founded Providence Center in 1993 in response to the closing of St. Edward’s parish and school, where they had taught for over 100 years.  Today that Holy Child charism is alive in our mission and work.  From the beginning, when the sisters went door-to-door talking with their neighbors, we have focused on addressing the pressing needs of our community.  Now, in our new building, we have even more opportunities to serve  Fairhill's children and families as we
