Dingle Film Walks
Maurice Galway is an experienced walker and hillwalker with over 15 years of walking experience in Ireland and Spain, but he also has over 20 years experience in the Film and Animation Festival circuit. He has invited and welcomed actors, filmmakers, animators and other industry experts to Kerry, sharing the stunning Dingle Peninsula with them. Amongst them: Laura Dern, Cillian Murphy, Sarah Miles, Gabriel Byrne, Saoirse Ronan, Aidan Gillen, Jean Jacques Beineix, Maureen O’Hara and Gregory Peck’s Family.
Join award-winning filmmaker and industry expert Maurice Galway on this breathtaking guided loop walk in Dún Chaoin. When Maurice welcomed back Sarah Miles (Rosie Ryan from Ryan’s Daughter) in 2007, he revisited locations with her and began to see how others might enjoy this experience. Maurice is now offering a guided walk to sites such as the Old Schoolhouse in David Lean’s iconic Ryan’s Daughter and Disney’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Far and Away starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.
