Foundation for Integrated Transport
The Foundation for Integrated Transport was formed by the late Dr Simon Norton in 2014 to make transport better for people and the environment. Dr Simon Norton was a world-class mathematician and renowned transport campaigner. Our vision is a world where people can live decently without a car and enjoy good, affordable public transport; where transport causes little climate change; where public transport is integrated and complemented by safe and attractive routes for walking and cycling. We fund projects that will help to make this vision a reality.
As a grant-making charity we provide:
• Grants to organisations, projects and citizen groups
• Fellowships to develop skills and experience of transport activists
• Small grants to local campaigns to complement the work of volunteers
• Investments in social enterprises that provide sustainable mobility
