An Taisce - The National Trust for Ireland is Ireland’s oldest charity protecting our built and natural heritage. Conveying the idea of something that is loved or treasured, a rough translation of An Taisce from the Irish means “our treasure.” We are a champion for the quality of life that works to protect Ireland’s rich and often undervalued natural and cultural heritage through heritage ownership, environmental education, partnership and advocacy for improved national policies.
