Cheryl Sharp
Cheryl Sharp is a Domestic Abuse at Work Specialist, Survivor Mentor, and Speaker whose work sits at the intersection of lived experience and real workplace change.
She left an abusive marriage in 2011 with no money and no plan. From that starting point, she built a six-figure business, became an employer herself, and knows first-hand that domestic abuse doesn't stay at home. It follows survivors into work. That personal and professional perspective is what makes her training different.
Cheryl works with organisations to create and embed domestic abuse policies that actually hold up in practice, and delivers training that helps HR teams, managers, and employees know what to do when it counts. She works alongside Safer Places and has been featured on BBC, Personnel Today, The HR Director, People Management by CIPD, and SME News.
Her approach is practical, compassionate, and jargon-free. Because the people who need this training are real, and the conversations they'll have as a result need to be real too.
