Professor Mary Gilmartin, Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute

Mary Gilmartin is Professor of Geography at Maynooth University. Her research focuses on contemporary Irish migration and mobility. Her book on  was published by Manchester University Press in 2015. Mary is co-author (with Cliodhna Murphy and Leanne Caulfield) of Developing Integration Policy in the Public Sector: A Human Rights Approach. 

Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute (MUSSI) was established in 2015. MUSSI leads two of Maynooth University's research priorities: People, Place and Environment and Social and Economic Transformations. It supports interdisciplinary and socially-engaged research in the social sciences.
