Stories from the Womb was created by a group of women interested in making space for the stories that we carry within us.

The facilitatorsLaura Whalen is a mother of 5. She has been a doll maker for 10 years, many of those years making dolls for healing purposes. She has run a number of doll making workshops for women who have experienced child loss/ miscarriage. She works with a number of women’s groups in West Cork and is passionate about bringing greater focus on important events and experiences in our lives.

Sara Devoy is Cranial sacral therapist that deeply settles mind and body.Vitality, self-compassion and stillness are the foundations of Saras' work as a Craniosacral therapist. She loves to support people of all age groups to re connect with their potential. Sara is fully insured and registered with the Irish Craniosacral Therapy Association. She has a practice in Rosscarbery and Cork City.

Pam Skinner is a mother of 2. She lives in Kilbrittain and teaches Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation. She runs Universal Energy Arts with her partner and has taught all over the world. She has a gentle energy and deep wisdom that she brings to all of her work.

Claire Marie BartonI’m a sound healer, musician, writer and mother of 2 boys, living in west Cork. In 2005, my first baby Alan, was born prematurely at 27 weeks and died shortly after birth. This was the start of my healing journey which led to me writing songs and poems and taking angel communication classes and self-publishing my first book & CD ‘Letting Go a mother’s healing journey’.

In my work as a sound healing practitioner I combine the healing effects of reiki, sound healing and angel card readings. I use the simple, yet powerful energy of sound to help you achieve a state of calm and inner peace so you can be present in the moment and flow with life.
