Another exciting night of international jazz at Bagots Hutton LIVE sees New York's Brian Charette appearing with the very impressive Dublin outfit Peter Moc Group.
Charette has established himself as a leading voice in modern Jazz. A Grammy-nominated Hammond artist Charette was the winner of the 2014 Downbeat Critics’ Poll Rising Star: Organ award. In 2015 he was voted the best Organist in New York. Charette is a staple of the downtown NYC scene working with virtually everyone who plays with an organist.
Besides being a critically acclaimed composer and bandleader, Brian has performed with many notable artists such as Joni Mitchell, Chaka Khan, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, and many more. Most recently, Brian has worked with Miles Davis alumnus, George Coleman and Allman Brother's Band Drummer, Jaimoe.
Brian will be joining Peter Moc Group to play both original and rearranged hard bob and jazz-rock material by Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane, Larry Coryell mixed with Peter Moc's original compositions.
