About this event
The Socio-Economic Marine Research Unit (SEMRU) of the Whitaker Institute, University of Galway, in partnership with the Marine Institute, invites you to attend the 12th Annual Marine Economics and Policy Research Symposium.
The day will provide participants with an update on a wide range of policy topics related to the marine sector in Ireland. The theme of this year’s event is “Data for marine policy and the public good”. Speakers will include Prof Nick Hanley from the University of Glasgow, Claire Jolly from the Ocean Economy Group at the OECD, colleagues from the University of Galway, the Marine Institute and Bord Iascaigh Mhara, to name but a few.
